Psalm 28:7, KJV. The LORD our shield means that Yahweh is our cover and defense. He also surrounds us with an enveloping effect making it impossible for us to burn because of the fire/heat of life. The good news is that Jesus covered us from the heat of the wrath of God and keeps covering us from the heat of life.
