The Scandal of the Cross Hebrews 9-16-28

The cross of Christ is scandalous, it causes people to stumble. For the self-righteous, there is no need for the cross because their is no need for forgiveness. They haven't done anything wrong. For many others, the cross is scandalous because they don't think they are worthy of Christ's forgiveness. on the one hand, some are too good, on the other hand some are not good enough. Against this, the forgiveness of God is available for all who would repent and turn back to Christ.
