The transcript explains how this ritual foreshadows the sacrifice of **Jesus Christ**, who serves as both the sin offering and the scapegoat. It highlights how Jesus' crucifixion not only atones for past sins but also gives believers power over future transgressions and iniquities, which are described as a form of spiritual bondage.**Key Topics:*** The ritual of the sin offering and the scapegoat in Leviticus 16.* The meaning of "**atonement**" as "**at-one-ment**".* The connection between the Old Testament ritual and Jesus' sacrifice on the cross.* How Jesus was "numbered with the transgressors" to intercede for them.* The distinction between forgiveness for past sins and power over future transgressions. The main takeaway from this transcript is that Jesus was more than just a sacrifice for our sins. He became a transgressor himself, bearing the iniquities and transgressions of humanity, to give us power over these things and redeem us from our Lawless deeds so we would not be owned by them.#Scapegoat #Transgression #Jesus #BibleStudy #Leviticus #Isaiah #Christianity #AtonementTransgression.
