Mark Meinke is the host of Operation Romeo Tango, an awareness podcast for veterans and 1st responders suffering from PTSD. He's also a suicide survivor. It wasn’t that long ago when he read the story about veteran affairs offering up medical assistance in dying for a gentleman suffering from PTSD. His ears perked up because his podcast focuses on post-traumatic stress disorder for veterans and first responders. He was shocked to hear that they were being offered “a way out” as opposed to a way through. Mark recently testified to parliament, shedding light on the debate when it comes to MAID and mental health, MAID for minors, and who can perform these procedures. Educate yourself. It matters.
