The Schomburg Centennial Book List

This year marks the centennial of the Schomburg Center, and to celebrate, they've released a new book list titled '100 Black Voices: The Schomburg Centennial Reading List,' with contributions from WNYC's own Alison Stewart. Maira Liriano, associate chief librarian of Schomburg Center's Jean Blackwell Hutson's Research & Reference Division (and the curator of the list), and Brian Jones, NYPL's senior director of reading and engagement, discuss the authors and books featured on the list, and listeners  share their favorite books from Black authors.   Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company.
