The Science behind a Gratitude Practice (It's Not as Cliche as You Think!)

from Embrace Your Real · host Julie Ledbetter

I know you've heard me talk about gratitude practices before and how it's something I prioritize daily. I know you've also heard everyone else talk about it, too. I know many of you probably think it's just this fluffy practice that won't actually help, or that it sounds great but in reality you don't think it will actually help change they way you feel in your life. For all of you who feel this way, I have put this episode together to prove you wrong! I'm going to dive into WHY gratitude is so powerful and why you should stop overlooking it as a daily habit you practice. I personally think my gratitude practice is just as important as nourishing my body with what it needs and honoring my body with movement. Are you ready to find out why?  If you loved this episode, I have a short episode out from the early days of this podcast that I want to link that gives some good food for thought regarding this topic: Episode 6: How to Take Control of Your Day and Live a More Positive Life
