The Science of Happiness

from Science of Happiness · host Lori Purdy Faitel

Welcome to THE SCIENCE OF HAPPINESS - There can be happiness after brain injury. My name is LoriPurdy Faitel and I am tonight's host. I am a TBI survivor from a car accident that happened in 1986, a car accident on my way to work as a secretary.  Since 1992, I have been a State Registered & Certified Occuational Therapy Assistant - COTA. And I am blessed that I currently work part time in rehab facilities for the brain injured! That has been the goal of my recreated life. I never dreamed of being a radio host and here I am. The only thing that should limit us is ourselves. I was told at one point that my mental functioning would not return beyond that of a 8th grade student. HMMM I returned to college and got my degree, I have self published a book AM I BRAIN DAMAGED, I am the lead administrator for the brain injury peer support line "4peer11" 855-473-3711 and now I am a radio host!
