My bed In Black Rock City last year was practically on the DISTRIKT dance floor, so I was awakened by many of the opening sets, that are unjustly less attended than the closing sets, at dawn. The awakenings were always pleasant and often made me feel energized, and wishing for stronger playa WIFI so that I could shazam from my pillow what was being played. The opening sets defined DISTRIKT for me in 2016, and if my taste is any indication, some of those openers will eventually be playing the closing sets.
