The Se7en Churches: Compromised, The Church of Pergamum

PERGAMUM: COMPROMISEDPergamum is the 3rd church of The Se7en Churches found in the book of Revelation. The church of Pergamum was faithful to the Lord, but also had a sickness. They compromised the word of God by listening to false teachers and tolerating false doctrine. Being faithful to the Lord, or knowing the Lord, while tolerating a little false doctrine is still common in today’s church. Today’s church allows false doctrine to sneak in through different books, music and false teachers.
