The Search For God: From the Garden to the Manger

This was originally aired on Christmas last year.In Genesis, after the fall, God’s first recorded question to humanity is simple yet profound: “Where are you?” It is not a question of location, but of relationship. God is pursuing man after separation.This message was inspired by a sermon preached by Rodney Garrison, a volunteer and a member at one of our church partners, The Way of Life Church, reflecting on that moment in Genesis and its meaning for our lives today.As I continued to sit with that truth, another question came into focus. In Matthew’s Gospel, the Magi ask the first recorded question of the New Testament: “Where is He?” It is humanity searching for God.Taken together, these two questions frame the entire story of Scripture. From the Garden to the Manger, from separation to reconciliation, the Bible tells the story of a God who seeks us and a people learning to seek Him.This episode explores that journey—and what it means for us today.
