Going the second mile is about doing the ordinary with excellence, and we must be excellent in our ordinary to open doors for the extra to happen. Our walk and relationship with Christ should be obvious to others, but we don’t need to be extra, just ordinary with excellence. We need to be ambitious without the promise of promotion and work as if we are working for the Lord rather than for people. We should be ordinary givers, giving our tithe, the 10%, with excellence, and there is freedom in giving to God.
