The Secret Behind September Birthdays

On this live Labor Day hour of The Other Side of Midnight, Walter breaks his self-imposed weekend silence to dive into the stories that matter—and several that definitely don't. Teen journalist Wyatt Sharpe joins to discuss Canada-US tariffs, Alberta’s separatist movement, and how Gen Z processes the legacy of 9/11 compared to Pearl Harbor. Then, Hollywood correspondent Matias Boom Boom drops in to review Steve Guttenberg's nostalgic new film and spill the details on his own role in a low budget B-movie called Bikini Theater. Finally, Steve and Celena from JB Bakery share their mouth-watering "Banana Split Bliss" recipe, break down Miss America's "lowball" questions, and reveal the hilarious, New Year's Eve-inspired secret behind why Labor Day weekend is absolutely packed with birthday cakes.
