The dream discloses an abyssal dimension of existence where the distinctions between subject and object, self and world, past and future, become fluid and permeable. In waking life, consciousness organizes experience according to principles of identity, causality, chronology, and spatial order. The world appears as a network of separate objects connected by measurable relations. The dream suspends this architecture. Distances collapse. Contradictory events coexist.
