In 2014 Katie moved to Florida with her husband, Hal where she worked as a critical care nurse for three years before starting her graduate program in Nurse Anesthesia. Following her graduation in 2019, Katie and Hal moved to Washington State after falling in love with the Pacific Northwest while visiting family there the prior yearKat started her nursing career eight years ago in Florida as a medical surgical nurse before moving to Texas and stepping into a trauma ICU position. During the pandemic, Kat furthered her nursing career as a travel nurse for over two years, caring for critically ill patients and developing a love for traveling.
