The Secrets Hidden in Your Emotional Eating

from Fiercely Human

Beth Clayton (your host) is a soul-based life and health coach and loves to help open-hearted people break free from their own self-sabotage, outdated thought patterns, and past pain so they can deepen their relationship with their own soul's intuition, speak their truth courageously and fulfill their most authentic desires. She is the creator of multiple group programs, retreats, and transformational workshops, leading hundreds of truth seekers toward finding freedom and ease in their relationship with food, their bodies, their lives and ultimately, themselves. In this episode, I'm going to be pretty bold and declare something that might sound strange. Your emotional eating (or replace with any other numbing agent) is actually a gift in some strange wrapping paper, and may actually be a catalyst for a deeper transformation that creates more abundance and possibility in your life. I will jive about: Why our issues with food have almost nothing to do with food. How emotional eating patterns develop & what they tell us about what we are trying not to feel. Why the most painful cost associated with emotional eating has nothing to do with gaining weight. The big realizations I have had in moments of mindless and compulsive eating that catapulted my life forward. How emotional eating is never really "cured" and how that can actually help us. What becomes possible when you gain awareness of your patterns with food.
