The SetList | Armond Wakeup

Welcome to “The SetList.” On this episode of the Setlist, Adán Bean sits down with Forth District alumn and fellow Ohioan, Armond Wakeup, on the heels of his debut album, Even If I Lose, courtesy of Illect Records. The SetList is a music podcast hosted by Forth District’s A&R, Adán Bean, and features artists from every part of the musical landscape. The SetList seeks to reveal an artist’s interests, influences, and background in music like no other interview has done before. The podcast parallels a setlist, so for example: Sound Check: Introduce the Artist Opener: Discuss first song the artist has ever recorded or released. / Discuss favorite opening song on an album. Crowd Pleaser: Field a question from the audience / Favorite Live Show experience (from the stage or audience) Special Guest/Collaboration: Favorite collaborative work by two or more artist. Cover: One of your favorite songs to cover / Talk about which artist is your most profound musical influence Closer: Final Questions / Favorite Final Song on an Album Encore: What is coming next for the artist!
