The Seven Thunders

A storm rolls from the Mediterranean across Lebanon towards Kadesh, beyond even mighty King David’s control. David is powerless before it. Seven declarations of the Lord’s voice sound through the storm; His words break cedars, shake mountains and expose Baal as a useless rival. Attention turns from human strength and heart-capturing idols to the Creator and King who rules over judgement, life and death.
