A set of fake diamonds were what was actually taken, but Lamonte Cranston worries the burglars could return once they discover the mix up. Young Skippy helps Lamonte in his investigation, but before much more time goes by, Lamonte has been poisoned, and falls dead. Has the Shadow been defeated?
