The Shadow - "The Plot Murder" (Old Time Radio)
from The Shadow | Old Time Radio Hosted by Old Time Retro Radio
The Shadow presents “The Plot Murder,” originally broadcast February 27, 1938. This early Mutual Broadcasting System drama, sponsored by Blue Coal, stars Orson Welles as Lamont Cranston and Agnes Moorehead as Margot Lane. When Army Lieutenant John Wilson is convicted of sabotaging a secret experimental “flying torpedo,” his dazed behavior convinces Margot that the case deserves another look. The Shadow investigates a tense world of court-martial proceedings, military espionage, and a looming weapons demonstration. The Shadow presents the original broadcast with a newly produced contextual introduction, a short closing announcement, and gently cleaned and mastered audio for a more consistent listening experience.
