This Sunday’s message, “The Shield of Faith” (Ephesians 6:16), calls us to lift high the only defense strong enough to extinguish Satan’s fiery arrows—faith in Christ. Faith is not a vague optimism, but a confident trust in God’s Word, grounded in His promises and proven in battle. It shields us from doubt, fear, and despair, not because of our strength, but because of Christ’s. Faith is essential, powerful, and protective—and in every trial, the shield of faith must be raised.
