The Shining (1980)

It’s a great day for America. That’s right... the VIDEO MONSTERS ARE BACK! After an unintentionally lengthy hiatus we are finally returning to celebrate the new year and a new chapter for our country that has us daring to feel a bit of hope for the first time in a while. This has inspired our “New Year, New View,” theme for January, where Nathan and Eric are rewatching films we initially disliked to give them a second chance and find out if our feelings have changed. First up we’re checking into the Overlook Hotel with Stanley Kubrick’s THE SHINING. An all-time horror classic that left Eric feeling cold the first time he saw it.
