Shri Ganesh Leela Chimes Shri Ganesh Leela is a set of select stories from the lives and childhood of Lord Ganesh that are very popular in the Hindu religion. Created by Goddess Parvati, Ganesh is considered the younger son of Lord Shiva and Mata Parvati and his elder sibling is Kartikeyan.Since childhood, Ganesh was full of courage and valor and had defeated many powerful gods and demons in order to perform his duties.  These stories start from Lord Ganesh’s birth to the point where he starts to perform miracles with his divine powers. This podcast is a great way to introduce anyone, including children, to Hindu mythology and familiarize themselves with various gods and goddesses.Disclaimer: Any mythological story is bound to have many versions as these stories are passed verbally from one generation to another. Hence, even for Ganesh stories, there are multiple versions available. This podcast is based on the book of Ganesh Puran and we have tried our best to keep the story The Vanishing of Harry Pace (Radiolab) WNYC Studios From the creators of Dolly Parton's America, Jad Abumrad and Shima Oliaee, comes a new series produced in collaboration with author Kiese Laymon, scholar Imani Perry, writer Cord Jefferson, WQXR’s Terrance McKnight, and WNYC's Jami Floyd. Based on the book Black Swan Blues: the Hard Rise and Brutal Fall of America’s First Black Owned Record Label by Paul Slade. It was Motown before Motown, FUBU before FUBU: Black Swan Records. The label founded 100 years ago by Harry Pace. Pace launched the career of Ethel Waters, inadvertently invented the term rock n roll, played an important role in W.C. Handy becoming "Father of the Blues," inspired Ebony and Jet magazines, and helped desegregate the South Side of Chicago in an epic Supreme Court battle. Then, he disappeared.  The Vanishing of Harry Pace is a series about the phenomenal but forgotten man who changed America. It's a story about betrayal, family, hidden identities, and a time like no other. Iggeret HaLevana ~ the Message of the Moon Shira Kaplan Hi! Welcome to Iggeret HaLevana, a year-long ~spiritual~ journey with me, Shira. I’m working to tap into the mystical magical energies of the Hebrew months in the hopes that when next year’s Rosh Hashanah comes around, I will be set up to ascend into an inspired 5783 (aka next year).Growing up in a rural area, I always loved gazing at the expansive, fabulously glittering moon and stars. Now I live in New York, and I realize I took that night sky for granted.I can't see the stars now, but thank G-d I can still see the moon :)Email list opt-in: https://forms.gle/gvqBSKZz8feCkShd9 Seedha Pahad Se SURAJ KOHLI I m sending the message from the Himalayas sitting with lord shiva.
