the shock of grief is an eternal constant

One of the first understandings I gained during my first few moments as a widow, was the realization that everyone on the outside looking in was just having another day. Not to diminish the life event, but the shock of becoming a surviving spouse is overwhelming, momentarily. It skews the survivor's awareness, such that it makes them very spiritually vulnerable to all those previously unseen entity attachments on their loved ones. As ever, you control you, and forgive all around you.
