The sickening plague of school shootings in our country with a focus on Parkland

from THE 4 PERSONS SHOW

I recently read two books that came about in the aftermath the horrific February 14th, Saint Valentine's day / Ash Wednesday shooting at Marjorie Stoneman Douglas high school in Parkland, Florida in 2018. In the first half hour, we will speak with Thomas Gabor an esteemed criminologist with more than 30 years of experience. Mr. Gabor has done extensive research on these types of attrocities and will speak very frankly about what makes guns like the AR 15 a weapon of mass murder. Mr. Gabor co-wrote the book "American carnage" with Fred Guttenberg whose 14 year old daughter Jaime was shot and killed as she fled into a stairwell to escape the gunman. After our interview with Mr. Gabor, we will play part of a chapter from "Why Meadow died". This book was written by Max Eden and Andrew Pollack. Mr. Pollack's 18 year old daughter Meadow was shot and killed on the same floor as Jaime. 15 other students and faculty died that day. 17 more were injured. After the excerpt, we will talk about what needs to change so that no family will suffer this again. We attempted to get Mr. Pollack, Mr. Eden and Mr. Guttenberg on but were unsuccesful.
