The Signs of Greatness — If the Armor fits, should you wear it?

What was the secret to David’s greatness?  Was it due to his compilation of the Psalms?  Was it his role as the shepherd of Israel?   Was his greatness due to his great military exploits?  We will explore this question on Thursday evening.  The secret to David’s greatness is also the secret to your greatness.  David’s greatness shined through when he put on King Saul’s armor.  1 Samuel 17:38 (RSV) “38 Then Saul clothed David with his armor; he put a helmet of bronze on his head, and clothed him with a coat of mail.”  The armor fit David perfectly like a glove.  Should David have worn it?
