The Silent Twins

Send us Fan MailJune and Jennifer Gibbons were born on April 11th of 1963.  Even as infants the two had a truly unique bons, and even insisted on being nursed together.  As they grew into toddlers, they made a pact that they would only even speak to each other, and to eliminate the chance of someone over hearing them and understanding, they even had their own language that they invented and only they understood it.   their parents; Gloria and Aubrey tried to do right by their daughters but, understandably, when they would sit down to dinner every night and ask their "twinies" questions about how their day had been , and the girls would just stare down at their plate, it began to take its toll.  as the girls got older, they decided to try a life of doing drugs, burglary, and having sex.....with the same boy of course.  The girls ended up having to spend some time in a facility designed to help and reform them.  the had tried separating them on a couple of occasions and the consequences were absolutely  awful.
