The Silver Lyming: Episode 53 with Kara Truong

If you're looking for inspiration, look no further. This weeks episode is nothing short of miracle. Kara struggled with figuring out what was happening with her declining health, after she and her family had moved from Philadelphia Pennsylvania to a ski town. She was eventually diagnosed with tickborne illness, did the recommended treatment, but was still not better. As part of her recovery, she was taught about brain rewiring. She began to focus on things that made her feel good such as the sunshine on her skin and going for a walk. Kara unfortunately had to quit her job and was really struggling to function as a normal human. She was taking some pleasure from the ability to at least walk, until she suffered another injury and was reduced to really having only one thing to focus on to help her pull herself out of the darkness. I am overwhelmed by her determination, strength, and Will to live. I haven't stopped thinking about this story since I first heard it. Please take a lesson and let us know what you think.
