The Sin of Anger (Matthew 5:21-26 - Sermon on the Mount Series)

Are we always mindful as we think of our sinful anger, even though it doesn't lead to physically murdering someone, is committing murder against another person in our heart, and will also be judged by the Lord?  One commentator stated: "We would learn that we actually do worse things than these if we could only see our hearts as God is able to see them."  We are all murderers. Have you ever lost your temper, harbored a grudge against someone, gossiped, neglected their needs, spoke unkindly about them or to them, or have you been jealous?  We can destroy others in our thoughts and with our words, and as those who profess to be known and loved by Jesus, this should not be.  HELPFUL LINKS: Head over to ThankfulHomemaker.com for full show notes.
