The Sitdown with Standups Episode 1: Courting Comedy feat Deo Gratias

Trading his wig & gown for the mic, Deo Gratias took the bold step to leave the courtroom drama for the trials and tribulations of comedy. On his visit to Nairobi through the comedy pipeline between Punchline Comedy Club Nairobi & Punchline Comedy Club Tanzania, Deo takes us through the paces:   school days where blackouts saw him perform sets before he even knew that he was doing standup, a chance encounter with a friend introducing him to comedy, first performances, taking risks and rising through the ranks. An accomplished actor, producer, performer and founder of Watubaki Comedy Club in Tanzania, Deo is undeniably a master of his craft.
