It's time for the inconsistency to end. With the Jets slowdown starting with the 3-0 loss to the Los Angeles Kings on November 4th, 43 days ago, Winnipeg has gone 6-12-2. Since then, the Jets have had the worst record in the NHL. If it keeps going on, especially into the new year and lasts for two months, it becomes much more than a bad stretch -- it becomes systemic. With Winnipeg facing a massive three-game road trip starting Wednesday in St. Louis before traveling to Colorado on Friday and Utah on Sunday, it seems like this has to be where the Jets start to crawl out of the hole they've dug -- which only has then five points back of the San Jose Sharks with two games in hand!
