The biggest one being "unnecessary self censorship." Yes, we all know YouTube used to be the Wild Wild West and you could pretty much say anything and show anything, but as more and more mothers began clutching their pearls, more and more rules got put in place. Even if those rules weren't meant for comedy podcasts, they're not excluded from now following those rules. And breaking any of those rules becomes a whole mess that no one wants to deal with. Who's fault is it that this system is so flawed? The answer is clear: it's YouTube's fault. Is it too late to fix it? Probably. But if podcast fans started complaining to YouTube more than podcasters, the complaints might actually reach the right people that can make a change. Until then, enjoy the watered down version of what you used to like.
