The aquarium is closed for the night, and the long tunnel rests beneath a ceiling of blue filtered light. Water moves quietly beyond the curved glass, casting slow shadows across the rubber floor. The public doors are locked, the signs are dark, and the benches are empty. Only the low pumps remain, carrying a patient hush through the building.
