Sewage sludge, which is ubiquitously contaminated with PFAS "forever chemicals" and other hazardous industrial chemicals and pharmaceuticals and also may contain disease-causing viruses, bacteria, and fungi, is land applied as a fertilizer on farmland, parks, and even school athletic fields. This practice endangers the safety of our food supply, our drinking water, and our remaining open spaces.
