The Slumber Party Massacre (1982) & Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers (1988)
from Screams from the Basement · host Screams from the Basement
It’s Screams by Night week, and Screams from the Basement is celebrating Halfway to Halloween with two of their convention guests, Michelle Bauer and Brinke Stevens, with the ultimate B-movie double feature! First up is the feminist slasher THE SLUMBER PARTY MASSACRE (1982), Brinke’s first feature film role and a staple of the genre. Then, they boogie on to HOLLYWOOD CHAINSAW HOOKERS (1988), which features Michelle Bauer as a chainsaw-wielding working girl cutting up the sleazy men of Los Angeles. It’s a deep dissection of two fascinating examples of ‘80s low-budget schlock.
