Cynthia Erickson is a legend in Alaska whether you've heard of her or not. Senator Dan Sullivan, in honoring her as Alaskan of the Week called her "a woman who is a leader and a woman of spirit and a woman of energy and a woman of passion."That sums it up pretty nicely. In addition to her tireless work on things like the Iron Dog Race, suicide prevention and starting a nonprofit called "Setsoo ‘Yeh”  Athabaskan for “My Grandmother's House", Cynthia has taken on the issue of judicial activism by serving on the Alaskans for Judicial Reform Leadership Team.It is my honor to have her on Family Matters today.
