I suggest that Hollywood has been playing it safe for way too long. They won't even invest in a film or produce a movie that they can't already see the proceeds. And so we're seeing so many action figures turned into movies. Or it was a sitcom from the 70s that became a film. That's why original content is coming from independent filmmakers.
