The SNES Podcast #166 -- Super Smash Ball!

In this episode of the SNES Podcast, Greg and Joe are joined by special guest Ferg of the Atari 2600 Game by Game Podcast to look at another one of Ferg's favorite SNES games -- Sanrio World Smash Ball! A Japanese only release, this action/sports game uses characters from the Sanrio catalog such as Hello Kitty as you battle either against the AI or another human player to get your ball past your foe's defenses and into the goal while protecting yours. Playing a lot like Pong or Warlords, we talk about the gameplay, the oddity factor of the game, and how it holds up today.
