The Solemnity of Epiphany

Today's readings celebrate the revelation of Christ's light to all nations. Isaiah proclaims that God's glory will draw peoples from afar bearing gifts of gold and frankincense, while Matthew's Gospel shows us the wise men following a star to worship the newborn King with these very same treasures.
