The Son of God: The Reach of Grace

We’re not sure when it happened to Levi. Growing up in Galilee, he too had suffered under the violence and greed of Rome. But now, he found himself captive to the very things he once despised; he was a tax collector exploiting his own neighbors. His countrymen considered him the lowest of the low, but Jesus knew that he was not beyond the reach of grace and extended to him a new beginning.
