Sometimes we are stuck because someone told us what we had to be, what we had to believe in. When we did not have the chance even to know by ourselves what we wanted to be, and we were punished and ashamed when the abusers did not get the expected behavior. We could be trapped, in the same dynamics, recreating all the time the same scenarios in our lives. Abuse is not only physical, because of mental and emotional abuse; also, we do not know what is happening, involving our self-estimate, and our ability to function on many levels.They also talk about narcissism’s definition and how it is possible to convert the ego into a tool, useful for healing.
