He is the founder and owner of The Chicago Relationship Center and provides intensive couples therapy through Couples Therapy Inc. He was one of the first five advanced clinical trainers appointed by The Gottman Institute to provide workshops for couples and professionals at all levels of Gottman training. He obtained his Ph.D. from the Institute forClinical Social Work in Chicago in 2000. An extensive summary of his dissertation research, entitled “Dyslexia and the Life Course,” was published in the Journal of Learning Disabilities in July of 2003, and has been cited more than 500 times in peer-reviewed publications. He wenton to present his work with neurodiverse couples in 2007 at The Annual Gottman Conference. More recently, Dr. McNulty led webinars for The Gottman Institute for professionals and forconsumers on neurodiverse couples. He has also interviewed for several podcasts on this topicand others.
