The Source of Salvation

In chapter 2, we find Jonah hanging out in the great fish. God has caught up to him and Jonah is confronted with his runaway rebellion. Yet, despite the running, Jonah now recognizes God's salvation as he is brought back into God's presence, now with a heart of worship. How do we respond when God catches up to us?
