Timothy Spencer, also known as the South Side Strangler, was an American serial killer who raped and murdered multiple women. He was the first serial killer in the US to be convicted based on DNA evidence. Spencer's victims included Debbie Davis, Dr. Susan Hellems, Diane Cho, and Susan Tucker. He was convicted and sentenced to death for three of the murders.
