The Sower, the Seed and the Soil - Mark 4:1-20

Distraction - shallow thinking - shallow livingJesus taught through parables. Considered one of the most important parables Jesus taught, the parable of the sower, the seed, and the soil talks about the different ways God's word grows and takes root, or withers and dies. Satan works overtime to keep us distracted in order to prevent God's word from taking root and flourishing in our lives.  Prior to reading God's word, pray that you will remained focused to receive what God has for you. Not only are we receiving God's word for our own growth, but we are to be sowers of that seed for others around us.  Does God have your undivided attention?
