The Spindle of Beechwood County Road 17
from Plague Doctor's Round — Fexingo Horror · host Fexingo
In the autumn of 1997, a county surveyor named Owen Teague drove a stretch of rural Missouri road that didn't exist on any map. He found a town called Beechwood that had been erased from records since 1887. The people there were polite, hollow-eyed, and all wore clothes a century out of fashion. They invited him to the Harvest Social. He stayed three days. When he came back, he couldn't stop measuring things—roads, rooms, his own body. He said the town had given him a task. This is his story, as he told it to me one night in a motel room in Rolla, Missouri, while he kept checking the distance between the bed and the door. #FexingoHorror #HorrorPodcast #PlagueDoctorsRound #AnthologyHorror #MissouriHorror #RoadHorror #LostTown #Surveyor #Beechwood #HarvestSocial #VanishingTown #AutumnHorror #Measurement #OwenTeague #CountyRoad17 #FolkHorror #UncannyValley #PodcastHorror Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
