Imagine spending three years walking beside Jesus—listening to His words, watching His miracles, learning directly from the greatest Teacher who ever lived. That was the experience of the disciples. Yet, even after all that, Jesus knew they still had much to learn—and even more to remember. That’s why He promised to send the Holy Spirit—the Helper.The Holy Spirit is not just a force or a feeling. He is a divine Person who works within us, teaching and helping us grasp spiritual truths we couldn’t understand on our own. He brings God’s Word to our minds, especially in moments when we need it the most. In times of trouble, confusion, or even when we’re challenged for our faith, He reminds us of the promises and teachings of Jesus.But here’s the key: the Holy Spirit brings to remembrance what we’ve already heard or read. That means we need to fill our minds and hearts with Scripture and be willing to learn. The Spirit teaches us not through man’s wisdom, but through the deep things of God (1 Corinthians 2:10–11). And this divine instruction leads to something the world can never give—true peace. Not a shallow peace like the Pharisees or hypocrites claimed to have, but a peace that comes from being made right with God, a peace that flows from a living relationship with Christ.Today, ask the Holy Spirit to be your Teacher. Open your heart and spiritual ears. God’s Word comes alive when the Spirit brings it to your heart and mind. He is your Helper—always ready to teach, to remind, and to lead you into truth.
