The Spiritual Journey of Michell and Shiloh Powers | Embracing the Unseen

Today our guests are Michell and Shiloh Powers, who we’ve known for a few years now and they go deep into their spiritual journey and faith crisis. They talk about moving around the country in different places and trying to find out where they fit in, and then ending up in Hawaii. From a very young age, Michell has been able to see angels and spirits, which she thought was completely normal until she got to the age 6 or so and started talking about it, which is when she realized these experiences were very unique. She suppressed them for many years until her husband finally came to understand what she was experiencing, and then began encouraging her to start sharing these gifts with others. Half of the LDS Church community they were a part of didn’t like what she was sharing and it caused a lot of commotion/division, which ultimately led to Michell and Shiloh just leaving the community altogether. Now they are just living their lives the best way they know how and Michell continues to share her gifts with the world.
