The Spirituality of Jesus: Drawing Lines or Erasing Them?

You can better know who and how to relate, how much or how little to trust, who you can learn from and who you can’t. Sometimes though, knowing where someone stands can be synonymous with lines drawn, lines that can be ostracizing, judgmental and even hypocritical. Jesus entered into a culture with a lot of lines already drawn, and it seemed that he was erasing many of them, but to what extent? Whether the lens of your spirituality wants to see more or less lines, we may be surprised by the spirituality of Jesus and how he is calling both sides to the center, reimagining how lines work.
