The Spores

The thing inside the freezer defied explanation. It took several long moments of staring to decide whether it could more accurately be called a ‘thing’, or ‘stuff’. At first glance, it appeared to be one giant mass of purple, white, and blue fungoid matter that strained to grow out of the freezer and into the outside air.
