We knew it would be an interesting off-season in junior hockey after changes were made to NCAA eligibility earlier this year, and this week Medicine Hat Tigers phenom Gavin McKenna became the latest and most high-profile name to depart the CHL for collegiate hockey. With that in mind, sport business commentator Tom Mayenknecht advises Hockey Canada to act fast, and perhaps add Canadian universities to NCAA hockey in order to keep this country's best young players playing north of the border.
